Daly Snow elected to Silver Spruce Board of Directors

BRIDGEWATER, NS, CANADA -- May 26 2006 - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (the Corporation") (TSX-V: SSE), a junior mineral exploration company, wishes to announce the election of Daly Snow to its Board of Directors. Mr. Snow was elected at the Corporations recent Annual General Meeting.

Mr. Snow is the owner of an investment company, JAG Investments Limited as well as an accomplished business person having successfully founded, developed and divested one of Atlantic Canada's leading metal fabrication ventures Fabco Industries Limited. Under Mr. Snow's direction, Fabco Industries Limited grew to a global company with 500 employees, significant yearly sales volume and overall profitability. Fabco was involved in substantial projects including the Sable Offshore Energy project and the Hibernia Offshore Platform. Fabco's work ranged from ship and oil rig repairs and maintenance to design and construction of offshore living quarters and oil refinery shutdowns. Mr. Snow has had successful involvement in a number of business ventures throughout Atlantic Canada. As well, Mr. Snow continues as one of the region's most active sophisticated investors and leading community activists. Mr. Snow owns directly and indirectly 305,000 common shares of the Corporation and also possesses 155,000 stock options at a price of $0.55 per share. Mr. Snow's stock options are valid for five years from the date of grant.
